AmnioELITE™ is cryopreserved for safe, long-term storage and ease of handling, and is available in three volumes, listed below. It should be stored at -80°C +/- 15°C and expires after 1 year.
Wound healing components
AmnioELITE™ is rich with the basic components necessary for tissue repair and wound healing. It contains collagen substrates, growth factors, amino acids, carbohydrates, and cytokines.
Healing & repair of wounds
The wound healing elements found in AmnioELITE™ are known to facilitate migration and proliferation of cells to the site of injury and construct a natural scaffold on which new tissue growth can occur.
Chorion-Free
Allograft
Unlike other amniotic tissue allografts on the market, Surgilogix allografts do not contain chorion, which reduces the risk of an adverse reaction in the patient.
Benefits of Amniotic Tissue
Human amniotic tissue is known to contain Fibroblast Growth Factor, Epidermal Growth Factor, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, Transforming Growth Factor beta 1, Platelet-Derived Growth Factor AA and BB and Cytokines.
Amniotic tissue is a regenerative biofactory, with key components known to optimize the wound healing environment including cytokines, amino acids, carbohydrates, hyaluronic acid, growth factors, extracellular matrix components and cellular components.
Class II antigen expression is mitigated in amniotic tissue minimizing immunogenicity and reducing the risk of graft versus host reaction.
Amniotic tissue is known to contain the following extracellular matrix elements: Collagen Types I, III, IV, and VII, Laminin, TIMPs, Fibronectin, Proteoglycans, and Hyaluronic Acid.
